The effect reducers are placed between the lens (PL or EF) and the camera bayonet (E or RF) and are used to mimic the characteristics of the historic, prized Bausch & Lomb Super Baltar (L1), Canon K35 (L2), or to simulate the vertical/horizontal depth of field of classic anamorphic lenses (L3).
