Aputure Storm 1200x

The Aputure Storm 1200x is a 1200W adjustable bi-color light with ProLock Bowens mount and BLAIR source guaranteeing high color fidelity.

The light of a new generation
The new BLAIR (Blue/Lime/Amber/Indigo/Red) light source in STORM 1200x provides a higher quality white light than any previous LED system, with a CRI of 95+ and SSI of 87. The calibrated indigo emitter enriches the fluorescent materials, resulting in a white light that better matches natural daylight.

New generation range
The BLAIR chipset gives the STORM 1200x light a premium CCT range from 2,500K to 10,000K. The color flexibility also offers 100% control over +/- green, which includes the full range of ASC MITC settings.

Bit-depth control has been increased to improve dimming at low levels. This allows the STORM 1200x to use PWM dimming down to 0.1% with no change or drop. Color accuracy is maintained throughout the entire brightness range, even at extremely low levels.

ProLock Bowens Mount
STORM lights feature a lockable ProLock Bowens mount, a more secure design for mounting modifiers. This keeps accessories firmly in place and optics such as fresnels and spotlight projectors precisely aligned with the light module.

Control options

STORM 1200x offers professional connectivity options used in modern lighting: Sidus Mesh, CRMX, DMX512 (in/out), sACN and Art-Net via etherCON.

P65 protection

Thanks to the holistic IP65 protection against dust and weather, you can work with the STORM 1200x even in extreme conditions. Seals at each connector and around the individual components allow the light to be used outdoors even in the rain.
