Aputure Storm 80c

Aputure Storm 80c is a compact 80W spot light with Mini ProLock Bowens mount. This portable and powerful light features a BLAIR-CG light module that gives it high color accuracy.

BLAIR-CG

The new BLAIR-CG light module on the STORM 80c represents the best adjustable colour LED technology in Aputure lights. It provides the widest range and highest colour accuracy. It can cover 90% of the Rec2020 colour space and achieves rich colours in shades such as precise yellow that would otherwise be unattainable. The calibrated indigo emitter enriches fluorescent materials, resulting in white light that better matches natural daylight.

1 800-20 000K CCT and full +/- green correction

The STORM 80c offers the best CCT range in its class, while also being the smallest and most portable light. The color flexibility also offers 100% control over +/- green, which includes the full range of ASC MITC settings.

Small size, unlimited possibilities

The STORM 80c has a compact design and a removable mount (yoke) so you can store it anywhere. Without the yoke, the light measures just 15 x 10 x 10 cm and weighs 1 kg. The mounting points for the yoke have 3/8-inch threads, so you can use regular grip mounts to attach the light where it's needed. There is also an optional handle with battery mounting bracket.

Mini ProLock Bowens Mount

The STORM 80c features a mini version of the lockable ProLock Bowens mount, a more secure design for mounting modifiers. Aputure offers modifiers with the Mini ProLock and an adapter to the standard Bowens mount.

Power options

The STORM 80c can be powered by mains, V-mount batteries or via USB-C. Aputure offers an optional STORM 80c Handheld Bracket that includes a V-mount battery plate and D-Tap cable. The STORM 80c also features a 100W USB-C port for direct power from the power bank.

Control options

The STORM 80c offers professional connectivity options used in modern lighting: Sidus Mesh, CRMX and DMX.

IP65 protection

With holistic IP65 protection against dust and weather, you can work with the STORM 80c even in extreme conditions. Sealing at each connector and around the individual components allows the light to be used outdoors even in the rain.
