14.4V 96Wh lithium-ion battery with OLED display
This new model has a built-in OLED display that allows you to see real-time information about the battery charge status. This helps users get accurate information about battery voltage, current draw, run time and more, when connected to any type of device. This is very useful when connecting the battery to a device or DC power distribution box that is not SMBUS equipped.
The operation of the built-in OLED display is fully automatic. When the battery is disconnected, the OLED can be activated by shaking the battery, allowing the battery capacity, cycle count and temperature to be checked. When the device is powered by the battery, the OLED display turns on and displays real-time charge status information. When the device is powered off or disconnected from the battery, the OLED display turns off.
If the battery is connected to a fully SMBUS compatible device, the OLED will remain off to conserve power and keep the SMBUS lines clear.
