Blackmagic Streaming Decoder 4K is a new streaming processor that decodes live H.264 and H.265 streams from an encoder or camera and converts them to SDI or HDMI with talkback, tally and camera control.
Blackmagic Streaming Encoder is a standalone hardware encoder for H.264 and H.265 for live streaming to YouTube, X, Facebook and more. It allows you to receive an H.264 or H.265 stream from a Blackmagic Streaming Encoder, ATEM switcher or Blackmagic camera and convert it back to SDI and HDMI video. This means you can send video directly between remote points (point-to-point).
If you need to create a broadcast streaming link, you can use the Blackmagic Streaming Decoder. This will receive and convert the H.264 or H.265 stream to SDI video. The decoder includes Blackmagic Cloud streaming support and a 12G-SDI reference input that allows you to connect SDI tally, camera control and talkback, and send these signals back towards the encoder. This allows you to set up central overhead while the cameras stream remotely - and still have full tally, talkback and camera control remotely. Everyone may be physically elsewhere, but they still work together as a team.
