The built-in 5-axis image stabiliser delivers up to 8 steps of protection against camera shake. And when you attach RF lenses with optical image stabilization to the camera (except for the RF 600MM F11 IS STM and RF 800mm F11 IS STM), the two systems combine to create a tremendous, up to 8-stop advantage.

These image stabilization systems built into the camera and lens also provide video stabilization. They are complemented by a third system - the Digital Video Stabilizer - which adds another level of stabilization and contributes to the professional look of the results.
