Datavideo PTR-15T

Datavideo PTR-15T is a 4K robotic pan-and-tilt head for remotely operating compatible broadcast cameras weighing up to 4 kg. Its defining HDBaseT connection carries video, audio, control and power over one Ethernet cable when the head is paired with the required Datavideo HBT-18 receiver, helping simplify fixed multi-camera installations. The head supports HDMI 2.0, 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI video connections and offers smooth remote movement for studios, lecture capture and live production.

Operators can recall up to 199 pan-and-tilt presets, synchronize the production with genlock and timecode, and integrate FreeD position data into virtual studio workflows. Control is available over RS-422, DVIP/IP, VISCA and LANC, with camera functions depending on the connected camera and lens. The PTR-15T is the HDBaseT member of the PTR-15 family; it is not a PTZ camera with an integrated imaging system.

The PTR-15T turns a compatible camera into a remotely operated studio position. Pair it with the HBT-18 receiver to carry video, audio, control and power over one Ethernet cable.

Stable support for cameras up to 4 kg

The aluminum-alloy head weighs 3.7 kg and supports a camera payload of up to 4 kg. Pan through 340° and tilt through ±45°, then recall any of 199 saved positions for repeatable framing in a studio, auditorium or live production space.

Studio connections and control

Connect video through HDMI 2.0, 12G-SDI or 3G-SDI. RS-232, RS-422, DVIP/IP, VISCA and LANC options help integrate the head with compatible cameras and controllers. Genlock and timecode support synchronized multi-camera production, while FreeD position data can feed virtual-studio systems.
