Unlock in seconds
The DJI RS 4 Mini delivers the automatic axis locks you know from DJI's flagship models. When powered on, all three axes automatically unlock, and conversely lock again when powered off or put to sleep. This greatly speeds up the shooting process, transitions between shots and stabilizer storage. In addition, the new design allows the arms to be folded flatter, saving space during transport. With these improvements, the stabilizer can be easily put to sleep at the touch of a button and conveniently placed in a bag for easy carrying.

Faster switching to vertical mode
The DJI RS 4 Mini offers the fastest switch between horizontal and vertical shooting in the RS series. To switch to vertical mode, simply loosen and press the side pivot lock, remove the horizontal plate, rotate it 90° and reattach. The whole process takes just 10 seconds, so you can instantly shoot vertical videos perfect for mobile screens and social media.

Triple balancing made easy
Having trouble balancing your camera during installation? RS 4 Mini brings three key improvements for even smoother and more accurate balancing:

• Teflon™ interlayers reduce friction and make camera balancing easier, taking inspiration from technologies found in DJI's flagship models.
• A fine-tuning rotary knob on the tilt axis allows millimeter-precise balancing by moving the camera forward or backward.
• The top quick-release plate now includes three positioning grooves that expand the camera's installation options. This allows the camera to be quickly removed and reattached without the need for rebalancing.

Support for cameras and smartphones
The lightweight RS 4 Mini offers a 2 kg load capacity, making it easy to work with Sony A7 mirrorless cameras with 24-70mm F2.8 GM II lens or Sony ZV vlogging cameras. When combined with the DJI Mic, additional lights and other accessories, camera movement remains smooth and stable. It also newly supports smartphones - using the phone mount, you can quickly switch to mobile stabilization, increasing its versatility.

Wireless recording and zoom control
When paired via Bluetooth, you can start or stop recording directly from a button on the stabilizer without having to use a wired trigger. The new zoom control feature enables Power Zoom for PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom - simply slide the joystick, making one-handed operation much easier. After the first pairing, the camera automatically connects for each subsequent use.

Enhanced user interface
The touch screen now displays icons more clearly and has a faster response time. New stabilizer status indicators have been added, and values can be fine-tuned directly using the front rotary dial when setting parameters. The display also has an auto-lock that displays the current gimbal and joystick mode with reduced brightness when locked. This not only prevents unwanted touches but also saves battery.

New handle for briefcase mode
We have developed a new generation of briefcase handle that has been reduced by 20% and lightened by 28g for the RS 4 Mini. This makes handheld shooting more comfortable, and puts less strain on your hands even for longer shots.

Intelligent tracking and composition
Introducing the DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module - a new versatile accessory for the DJI RS 4 series. This advanced tracking module makes the job easier for even less experienced filmmakers by providing automatic subject tracking and optimized composition. This ensures that the subject is always correctly positioned in the frame, which you will especially appreciate when:

• Orbital shots - smoothly circling the subject for dynamic visual composition.
• Rear tracking - ideal for action scenes and moving subjects.
• Shooting yourself - stable composition when recording without the assistance of a cameraman.

The module supports tracking at distances up to 10 meters and works reliably even in challenging conditions, such as multi-person environments. If the subject temporarily leaves the frame, the gimbal automatically locates the subject again and resumes tracking.

Secondary magnetic attachment
The tracking module uses a magnetic quick-release system that allows attachment to the gimbal's tilt axis in one second. Thanks to the strong magnetic lock, the module stays securely in place, eliminating the risk of it coming loose or falling off during filming and ensuring maximum reliability.

Second start/stop tracking
Simply press the gimbal trigger and tracking is instantly activated or stopped - all quickly and without complicated setup. Another option is to raise your palm towards the module, which will recognize you as the main subject and automatically start or stop tracking within one second. This feature is ideal for vloggers and content creators who film themselves.

Fast and smooth gimbal response
The new Responsive mode provides faster gimbal response to hand movements when starting and stopping, perfect for dynamic orbital shots.

In addition, the DJI RS 4 Mini also retains Smooth follow mode, which provides smooth camera movement - ideal for standard follow shots and parallel camera movement.
