DZOFilm Pictor Bundle 50-125/20-55 T2.8 (Black)

This bundle of the Pictor 20-55mm and 50-125mm T2.8 Super35 Zoom Lens from DZO consists of two lenses with a standard black finish, making them less likely to be seen in on-set reflections. The lenses provide coverage of an extended zoom range with a relatively fast maximum aperture. Both cover Super35 sensors and have similar lengths, weight, lens gear positions, and front outer diameter, making for fast lens swaps.

Each lens comes standard with a PL mount and includes a Canon EF mount for compatibility with a wide range of digital film cameras. The lenses hold focus across the entire focal length range and feature matching 16-blade apertures to create round blurs. This package includes a durable protective case for transport and storage.

The DZO Pictor 20 to 55mm T2.8 Super35 parfocal cinema zoom lens has a relatively fast maximum aperture of T2.8 with an aperture range of T2.8 to T22. As you'd expect from a cine film zoom, the lens is parfocal, which means it holds focus throughout the zoom range. The internal focusing design with floating elements virtually eliminates focus breathing. The lens covers the image circle of the Super35 format, comes standard with an interchangeable PL bayonet, and includes an EF bayonet.

The 16-blade aperture creates round out-of-focus highlights that have a more natural look and contribute to the natural bokeh look of the lens. The lens features cine-film style gear rings on the focus rings, aperture and zoom, making it compatible with cine-film style accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors and lens control systems. The 95mm outer front diameter allows the use of a variety of compatible third-party matrices, and the lens has an 86mm filter thread. The lens support leg allows the lens to be supported on rods to reduce strain on the camera's lens port.
