Hollyland Pyro S RX

Hollyland Pyro is a versatile solution for wireless video transmission at up to 4K/30 fps over distances up to 400m. In addition to HDMI (4K/30), the SDI variant of the Pyro S offers 3G-SDI input/output (1080/60), Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology for more reliable transmission, a color LCD status display on both units (showing battery level, active channel, etc.), lower latency of 50 ms (60 ms for the Pyro H version), and support for RTMP streaming. Like the HDMI version of Pyro H, Pyro S offers a range of up to 400 m, support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, the ability to connect one transmitter to four receivers, and USB Video Class (UVC) technology . Available from 6/2024.

Four receivers. No problem
Hollyland Pyro's "WifiBroadcast" technology allows one transmitter to connect to four receivers with a stable signal, offering greater flexibility when additional monitoring needs arise on set. When Broadcast mode is activated, signals can be broadcast to a maximum of four receivers and the range (line of sight) in this case reaches a maximum of 200m. When Broadcast mode is deactivated, signals can be sent to a maximum of two receivers and two mobile devices, extending the range to 400 m.

Thanks to its proprietary transmission technology in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology, Pyro S has a stable range of up to 400 m and a latency of only 50 ms. Compared to the Mars series, whose transmission range is extended at the expense of image quality and latency, the Pyro series excels in increased transmission distance while maintaining image quality and minimizing latency. The set also offers two modes that allow users to tip the balance between image quality and latency, namely HD mode for improved image quality with bitrates up to 12 Mbps and Smooth mode for dynamic latency variation. With the ability to stream up to 4k/30 fps, the Pyro system is also suitable for professional applications such as film production.

USB Video Class
UVC allows seamless compatibility with a wide range of devices, such as computers, without the need to install additional drivers or software. This plug-and-play feature simplifies setup and operation, for easy live streaming, video conferencing, etc. The Pyro variant also offers direct RTMP streaming to Zoom, YouTube Live, Twitch, TikTok Live and other platforms (requires a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter and the Hollyview app).

Intelligent channel browsing
Once started, the most suitable frequency channel is automatically selected. In addition, users can activate the receiver's intelligent channel scanning feature to view real-time feedback on frequency status, ensuring uninterrupted and reliable transmission. The Pyro S variant supports Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology for highly stable transmission.
