the iLoud MTM MKII is a new generation compact studio monitor in MTM speaker arrangement (2 x 3.5" woofers + 1" tweeter) with automatic calibration using the ARC™ measurement microphone (optional, not included). The MKII series offers improved drivers over its predecessor, better off-axis listening, better power utilization and higher SPL, higher DSP performance and improved room correction.

The new iLoud MTM MKII is sold individually as 1 piece, paired with an ARC microphone and in an Immersive set (11pcs) for mixing and listening to Dolby Atmos surround sound and other formats.

The MTM MKII is equipped with a pair of 3.5" high-performance woofers and one 1" high-resolution tweeter with enhanced transducers. These provide excellent volume and low frequencies, as well as enhanced clarity and articulation of the midrange. The Midwoofer-Tweeter-Midwoofer design delivers exceptionally accurate, defined sound that traditional two-way systems cannot achieve at close distances. The result is more balanced mixes with less ear fatigue.

Deeper, tighter bass

The MTM MKII delivers even more of the legendary "physical iLoud" sound, offering improved bass extension from 36 Hz (-10 dB over the MKI) and higher SPL levels. The increased bass and volume allow the MTM MKII speakers to replace much larger speakers, enabling reference-quality monitoring in even more situations.

Work faster and more accurately

Thanks to the tight vertical dispersion of MTM MKII loudspeakers, the acoustic effects of desktop placement and room reflections are minimized, ensuring accuracy on every project. The wide horizontal dispersion provides a wider sweet spot than previous generations and a smoother room response. Improved energy efficiency and extended maximum SPL also offer flexibility for FOH, immersion speakers or other volume-dependent tasks.

Next-generation ARC room correction

The MTM MKII adds a new way to get the best sound in any room, with deeper and more comprehensive automatic ARC calibration. Using technology from the flagship iLoud Precision Series, this four-space measurement offers an unmatched level of accuracy and reliable conversion in virtually any environment. By connecting an ARC MEMS microphone (included free with every pair of iLoud MTM MKII or immersion package) to each speaker's microphone input, users will be ready to deliver the perfect sound for the room - in any room - in minutes.

Thanks to IK's award-winning X-MONITOR integration, the iLoud MTM MKII now offers complete control over every element of the loudspeaker beyond the rear panel controls. The X-MONITOR system, for example, provides the MTM MKII with precise delay compensation between units for a superior stereo image. Users can also perform A/B mixes by switching virtual monitor voices that emulate the frequency and phase response of more than 20 high-end studio monitors and reference systems with breathtaking realism.
