K&F Concept Nikon F to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter

The K&F Concept adapter mounts Nikon G, F, AI, AI-S and D lenses on Micro Four Thirds cameras and camcorders – Olympus and OM System, Panasonic Lumix G, Blackmagic Pocket and others. It has no electronic contacts: focus is manual and aperture is set on the lens, while infinity focus is retained. The body is made of brass and aluminium.

Older manual lenses get a second life on modern mirrorless cameras. The adapter makes up the difference in flange distance, so the lens focuses through its whole range up to infinity. G lenses have no aperture ring of their own – the ring on the adapter sets their aperture. Because the adapter passes no electronic signals, the camera works in A or M mode and meters through the lens.

Precision-machined brass and aluminium

The adapter mount is machined from brass and the body from aluminium. Both sides fit without play, so the lens sits firmly and exactly on axis. With telephoto lenses the infinity point may shift slightly – confirm focus in the viewfinder.

Manual focus and aperture

Focus and aperture are controlled on the lens (or the adapter) and the camera shows the result in real time. Support heavy lenses with a lens support bracket on a tripod so the camera mount does not carry all the weight.
