"The Manfrotto 500 Fluid Video Head with flat base is super lightweight. It has a wider platform and is ideal for the latest camcorders and HDSLR cameras.Thanks to the fluidic system, the head offers fine control when shooting. Your shots will be completely smooth. Its load capacity is 5 Kg.
The video head has professional fluid reservoirs on both pan and tilt axes to ensure that every camera movement is smooth, controlled and precise. It is the most compact head in Manfrotto's successful Bridging Technology™ line.
It features a side lock system that allows the camera and slide plate to click quickly from above. The side lock system also makes lifting from the top faster and easier.
The video head has a preset counterweight of 2.4kg, however it can easily handle 5kg. It has one 3/8" Easy Link connector that allows you to connect an external monitor or other accessories.
The flat base mounting with standard 3/8"" thread makes the video head versatile for other support combinations (tripod, slider, jib or crane). "
