Advanced optics
Speed Booster adapters take advantage of the capabilities of advanced materials and patented technologies from Caldwell Photographic to improve the transmission characteristics of the entire electro-optical imaging system of the camera. The adapter is composed of six optical elements and uses glass with an extremely high refractive index. This ensures excellent optical properties, including an increase in the lens luminosity and sensor coverage, as well as an improvement in the modulation transfer function. A noticeable improvement can be observed especially in the centre of the image, with a slight improvement also in the peripheral parts

Compatibility with Nikon FX and DX lenses
The adapter allows the use of most available FX and DX series lenses with Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras, including DX lenses with integrated sun hood (e.g. Nikon 10.5mm/2.8 Fisheye or Sigma 8-16mm/4.5-5.6 Ultra-wide Zoom). The adapter also features an aperture ring with a range of eight aperture numbers for manual aperture adjustment (electronic aperture adjustment is not supported)
