Designed for dependable operation in the field, this new Smart Adapter features an extra large, geared iris ring and an easy-to-turn breech-lock to solidly secure the EF/EF-S mount lens.

Electronic integration includes viewfinder display of aperture, zoom and distance, auto exposure, an assignable function button and image stabilization (IS) lens support. No additional power source is required. Adapter firmware is user-upgradable through the micro USB port on the Smart Adapter.

High Precision
The Smart Adapter series of products add industry-leading electronic interfacing technology with true electronic control of the lens' aperture directly from the camera body. Both camera-side and lens-side of the adapter are made of brass, precision-machined and plated with chromium, while the rest of the product is coated in satin surface finish. Precise fit and solid connection ensureslens has no play, gap or wiggling when mounted on adapter and no adjustments are required to fit your lens. The Smart Adapter is designed to reach infinity focus while maintaining the correct registration distance required to maintain optical quality of CRC lenses or lenses with floating elements.



Electronic Integration
True electronic integration of aperture diaphragm enables camera automatically choose aperture in P or S exposure modes, or to be dialed in on the camera body in A or M modes. EXIF data such as lens identification, focal length and aperture are supported. Autofocus is not supported.
