The NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ is the first FX lens with the Nikon Z mount designed specifically for video. The expected on-sale date is set for April 2025.

The NIKKOR Z 28-135mm f/4 PZ has been designed to support solo videographers and small teams, offering high resolution for in-camera 8K video recording and light enough to work handheld. The lens design is optimized for exceptional quality results, making the lens a revolutionary piece of equipment for videographers using Nikon Z FX cameras such as the Z9 and Z8.

With a servo zoom and a friendly weight of just 1210g (including tripod sleeve) for use with a gimbal and handheld, this lens is a compact, superbly balanced and reliable tool for videographers and filmmakers who want to work with minimal equipment. The video-optimized optical design offers high resolution for recording 8K video and provides plenty of flexibility for making cuts in post-production and outputting in 4K.
