The new professional 4K news and documentary camera AJ-CX4000GJ is the second addition to the "CX" series (after the "handheld" model AG-CX350). The main attractions are the B4 bayonet, a large 11MP 4K sensor, compatibility with UHD and HDR standards BT.2100 and BT.2020, and high-quality recording of 10-bit/4K material using the HEVC codec. Recording is done on reliable expressP2 or microP2 cards (with the option of using SDXC media from other manufacturers)

The CX4000 also supports the HD AVC-ULTRA codec adopted from the P2HD series, and of course, UHD 60p/50p 10-bit 4:2:2 signal output via 12G-SDI. There is a wealth of options for deployment within a network infrastructure, including HD streaming (RTSP, RTMP/RTMPS), NDI|HX compatibility, and data transmission/remote control over IP networks
