Panasonic AK-HCU250EJ (Tajimi)

CCU unit for Panasonic studio cameras allowing to transmit uncompressed video data over long distances using fiber optics or SMPTE hybrid cabling. Option with LEMO connector. Available from Q4/2020.

The new CCU and ROP models are launched simultaneously with the new AK-HC3900 studio camera. The AK-HCU250PJ/PSJ/EJ/ESJ CCU unit allows - in combination with the new AK-HRP250GJ control panel - to transmit uncompressed camera signals via fiber optics or hybrid SMPTE cabling (along with power). The CCU supports all HC3800 features including simultaneous HDR/SDR output, extended format support and 4K upgrade. New features include 3G Trunk and 3G Prompter; new ROP panels support PoE power for easier installation. An interesting new feature of these CCUs and ROP units is also an SD slot allowing device settings to be stored (or firmware upgraded).
