Panasonic AW-HE130K (Black)

The Panasonic AW-HE130 is a remote-controlled, HD/SD fixed indoor camera with a trio of new, low-noise 1/3" MOS sensors that produce fantastic images even in low light. It is the successor to the very popular AW-HE120, which is already a standard in the field of fixed cameras for educational, sports, reality TV or music/theatre applications. But in addition, it adds a number of revolutionary new features, including support for POE+ (Power over Ethernet+) and HD video streaming in H.264 up to 1080/60p at 25 Mbps.

Compared to its predecessor, the AW-HE120, which has become a standard in the high-end remote camera field, the HE130 offers a host of innovative new features, including 3G-SDI output (up to 1080/60p), stereo audio inputs with microphone or line level, night mode for quality nighttime recording (requires optional IP headlight), optical image stabilizer, and IP-Live Preview for remote control of up to 16 cameras in a web browser environment

The best in PTZ cameras
With an excellent signal-to-noise ratio of 60 dB and a resolution of 1000 lines, the HE130 is a true record breaker in remote-controlled cameras for fixed installations. In addition, it adds high-quality color correction, the exclusive DRS (Dynamic Range Stretch) function to extend the dynamic range, or Hybrid Digital Noise Reduction. The unit is equipped with a trio of 2.4MP MOS sensors and the same DSP processors as Panasonic's professional TV cameras, such as the AJ-PX270! The model is also equipped with a fast zoom lens (20x, F1.6) and a new digital 1.4x extender



Professional interface
The HE130 is designed specifically for the most demanding TV applications and as such features HD/SD-SDI interfaces, HDMI and SD composite outputs, and now also supports the 3G-SDI standard for transmission of up to 1080/60p material over a single cable. To maintain compatibility with older remotes, it continues to support the RS-422 standard, but of course modern IP control options (directly or via web app) are also available. Direct control in IP networks can be implemented, for example, via Panasonic AW-RP50N or AW-RP120 products, or others from Crestron, AMX, Winnov and others. The camera's integrated web server allows secure remote access, including live preview from anywhere in the world. Up to 16 cameras can be previewed at once! Firmware 2.31 fixes a number of issues with the NewTek NDI|HX interface. The new version addresses issues with dropped frames in IP transmissions (by increasing encoder priority, etc.) and includes additional optimizations for NDI|HX drivers, such as changing the IP protocol from TCP to UDP. Using the camera within the infrastructure requires the purchase of a NewTek NDI|HX Upgrade license. The new firmware is available here
