The first additions to Panasonic's L-Mount professional lens family, which is expected to include more than 10 models by 2020! L-Mount, the standard originally created by Leica for APS-C and FF mirrorless cameras, is now supported by the L-Mount Alliance, an alliance of Leica Camera, Panasonic and Sigma. Its main advantages include a large internal diameter of 51.6 mm allowing the realization of high light lenses with very compact dimensions, the possibility to construct lenses with high dust and moisture resistance, and an advanced data interface for communication between camera and lens
