Compared to its predecessor, the REDMAG® 1.8", the RED MINI-MAG offers significantly faster read/write speeds, making it capable of supporting higher frame rates and resolutions with minimal compression.

When used with DSMC2® cameras, the RED MINI-MAG data transfer speeds are up to 50% faster than on EPIC DRAGON, enabling smoother and more efficient data handling. These versatile media cards are compatible with DSMC2 camera systems, allowing simultaneous recording in R3D® and Apple ProRes or Avid DNx formats, making them an ideal choice for various workflows.

Built from durable aluminum, RED MINI-MAGs provide rugged reliability in a compact and lightweight design. Available in multiple capacities, the standard grey models offer impressive read/write speeds of up to 225 MB/s, while the turbo-charged red models can achieve up to 300 MB/s, further reducing REDCODE® compression and ensuring optimal performance in demanding shooting situations.
