The Interview PRO is a compact wireless microphone that allows professional transmission and audio recording for your videos or posts. Preparation and use is very easy, the controls are intuitive. It is ideal for extending the RØDE Series IV wireless system. The microphone is equipped with a professional condenser capsule with omni-directional (omni, spherical) characteristics; it serves to capture the spoken word or any audio signal. In case of windy weather, a Windshield foam pop filter protects the recording, which also prevents crashing of plosive voices.

GainAssist - intelligent sensitivity adjustment
Thanks to the intelligent GainAssist technology, you don't have to worry about adjusting the input sensitivity. Interview PRO detects the signal and sets the optimal input sensitivity itself. So you can simply switch it on and start recording. You get a crystal clear signal without noise and distortion sound in seconds.

Recording - record directly in the transmitter
Thanks to the integrated recording, you can make more than 40 hours of recording without being connected to any receiver. So you can use Interview PRO on its own as a smart recorder and as a broadcast-quality recording device. You can also use the recording as a "safety punch" should your wireless transmission fail. That way, you'll never lose any audio, never lose a word, and your reporting will always be 100%.
Recording can be started instantly at any time using the Rec button located directly on the microphone body.

intuitive operation
You don't need to study any manuals to operate it easily; just the three buttons will do the trick:

• REC - instant recording. When pressed, it starts recording to the internal memory, which is indicated by the red backlight of the button. Press again to stop recording. The microphone's memory can hold up to 40 hours of recording in professional 32-bit quality.
• Mute (crossed-out microphone icon) - temporarily mutes the microphone. When the function is activated, the button is illuminated in yellow, press it again to reactivate the microphone. Mute can be used if you want to give some technical instruction to your crewmates, to clear your throat, or if a helicopter is flying over you.

Note: The Mute function mutes the microphone for wireless transmission only. The internal recording (if running) continues to record audio.

• Power - Use the button to turn the wireless Interview PRO on or off overall. You'll find the button somewhat hidden on the microphone base so that you can't accidentally turn the Interview PRO off while you're working, thus degrading the recording and transmission.

Wireless transmission
You can also transmit audio wirelessly via the high-end RØDE Series IV 2.4GHz transmitter to any RØDE Wireless compatible receiver. The transmission is free from any interference or eavesdropping because the signal is 128-bit encrypted. The wireless transmission range is up to 200 m (line-of-sight).

USB-C - connection to a computer or smart device
To connect to a computer, there is a USB-C connection (USB 2.0), which can be found by unscrewing and pulling up the handle cover. Once connected to a computer or smart device, the charging process will automatically start. Using the RØDE Central app, which can be downloaded for free on the manufacturer's website, you can conveniently set all parameters of the Interview PRO microphone and download the recorded audio files to your computer for further processing.

Compatibility - what does it do?
Interview PRO is compatible with Wireless Series IV receivers: Wireless ME (RX), Wireless GO II (RX). It can be used to augment all single channel sets with dual channel receivers such as Wireless ME and Wireless GO II Single. It is also an ideal partner for all podcast consoles that already have a wireless receiver implemented. These include the RØDECaster Pro II, RØDECaster Duo and Streamer X.

Note: Interview PRO requires a RØDE Series IV receiver for wireless operation. It is functional by itself only as a recording device.
