The 5th generation NT1 combines the classic sound of the legendary RØDE NT1s with cutting-edge next-generation technology.

This includes in particular the RØDE Dual Connect output, which offers both XLR and USB-C connectors. So you can connect the microphone to a standard mixing console or preamplifier using an XLR-XLR microphone cable, or plug it directly into a computer's USB slot as a plug-and-play device. You can use the NT1 5th generation microphone in the studio or on the go. For recording vocals and musical instruments as well as for podcasting, YouTube, social networking and everyday communication.

The microphone is equipped with an extremely low-noise, high-gain RØDE Revolution Preamp™ professional audio interface. The ADC has a high resolution of up to 192 kHz for advanced digital signal processing and recording of absolutely clear, studio-quality sound. The converter operates with 32-bit floating bit depth to record a signal of any volume level: from a whisper to an extremely loud metal drum kit. For one thing, there's no need for complicated Gain sensitivity adjustments, and there's no loss of dynamics or clipping of signal peaks. These revolutionary features are complemented by a warm silky character, extended frequency range, extremely low self-noise and high SPL - sound pressure.

The 5th generation NT1 features digital signal processing. Thanks to the DSP equipped with APHEX® processors, you get the perfect final audio signal from the microphone without the need for additional processors. This is especially ideal for streaming, podcasting, YouTube and other applications using USB-C connectivity. Available for:

• compressor - for sampling overly dynamic signals
• noise gate - for noise suppression of quiet passages
• high-pass filter - to cut out noise and lowest frequencies
• Aural Exciter™ - to brighten the highs and increase intelligibility
• Big Bottom™ - get the full sound

Note: DSP is only active in the digital section at a sampling rate of 48 kHz.
