Saramonic LavMicro 2M

The Saramonic LavMicro 2M is a pair of omnidirectional lavalier microphones on a shared cable with a single 3.5 mm TRRS plug. You can record two people through one mic input of a DSLR, mirrorless camera, camcorder, recorder or phone – for interviews, presentations and podcasts. The cable is 6 m long and the battery module with an LR44 battery has a switch for phone and camera use.

Battery module with switch

In the Off/Smartphone position the microphones are powered by the phone; in On/DSLR they run on the LR44 battery in the battery module – for cameras, camcorders and recorders. The battery comes installed and the included screwdriver opens the compartment.

Clip and foam windscreen

Each microphone has its own clip that grips collars and clothing firmly, and a foam windscreen that reduces unwanted wind noise.

Phone and camera

The 3.5 mm TRRS plug fits the headphone jack of a phone or tablet as well as the mic input of a camera. For cameras with a 6.3 mm input, such as the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera, an adapter is included.

Omnidirectional pickup

Both microphones pick up sound evenly from all directions. The voice sounds natural no matter how the speaker turns.

Tidy cables

Two hook-and-loop cable ties keep the long cable tidy and the soft zippered case is handy for storage and transport.

A two-person conversation

Each speaker gets their own lavalier microphone, yet both run into a single camera input. Six metres of cable leave plenty of room in front of the camera or around a table for a podcast.
