The transfocals in the Sigma Art series offer excellent optical quality with constant aperture throughout the entire range and minimal distortion, coverage of APS-C ("DC") and FF ("DG") size sensors, and very quiet HSM motors (Hyper Sonic Motor) for an autofocus system without disturbing the entire system. This makes it suitable not only for shooting with modern DSLR/DSLM devices, but also for shooting video. In addition to the 12-24mm, 14-24mm and 24-35mm models, they also offer the technology of internal movement of the optical system during focusing, without changing the lens length. The "OS" models are equipped with an optical image stabilization system; the 14-24mm and 24-70mm lenses have enhanced dust and moisture resistance.
