Powerful, bright, and durable, the Ultra 7 camera monitor offers a stunning 2300nits brightness and a full suite of large front-facing custom-function buttons for maximum control in all conditions. Experience all your favorite PageOS tools and functions on a fully loaded 7-inch touchscreen field monitor powerful enough to ingest a 4K signal with 6G-SDI. Ultra 7 is SmallHD’s first IP-certified monitor at IP53. The chassis is strengthened with a new design aesthetic that includes raised edges protecting the front glass of the display and additional shock-absorbing bumpers that help with drops, tumbles, and impacts. Ultra 7 is adaptable to all situations and conditions, including optional Gold or V-Mount Micro Battery Plates for a compact power solution, an Ethernet port to enable ARRI and Sony VENICE Camera Control, and a 5-Pin USB port for RED Camera Control (Camera Control license and cable sold separately).

QD-LED Edge-Lit LCD Panel Technology
SmallHD LEDs for Ultra 7 panels have the highest tolerance for color uniformity. These LEDs are built into an edge-lit panel stack that diffuses and focuses the light through a quantum-dot film,
ensuring the purest color accuracy on our panels. The result is an extremely bright monitor with excellent image fidelity.

With an IP53 rating and ultra-durable water, dirt, heat, cold, and drop-resistant chassis, Ultra 7 was designed to withstand all the rigors and elements that professional filmmakers endure. All electronic components are sealed with caps to protect against dust and water.

The Folding Magnetic Sunhood
The reimagined Ultra 7 sunhood connects to the monitor in seconds using a powerful magnetic array. This means no tools for installation or removal. When closed, the sunhood also provides total protection of the panel.
