The Sony E PZ 16-50 mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II is the 75th model in Sony's E-mount lens lineup and was primarily designed as a "kit" lens for the ZV-E10 II thanks to its compact size (31.3 mm long when retracted, weight approx. 107 g) and versatile focal length range (24-75 mm FF eq.). Compared to the first generation, the new version offers improved focusing (AF) and video performance. It also offers very good optical resolution thanks to four aspherical elements and one ED (Extra Low Dispersion), as well as a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm (wide-angle) or 30 cm (telephoto) and a maximum magnification of 0.215x.This powerful zoom is also ideal for shooting video thanks to the built-in optical stabilization and cooperation with the body stabilization mechanisms, and it also supports a "breathing" effect compensation system in the body.
