The MOD at the 17 mm position is 0.19 m and the maximum magnification is 1 : 5.2. With the 28 mm end, the maximum magnification ratio is 1 : 6 and the MOD reaches 0.26 m.This remarkable performance allows you to create compositions that emphasize perspective (bigger is bigger and smaller is smaller), which is unique to wide-angle lenses

The RXD stepper motor unit is extremely quiet

The new drive system of the 17-28mm zoom is powered by the RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepper motor, which enables it to deliver high-speed, high-precision and superbly quiet operation, making it suitable for virtually noise-free shooting.
