The TAMRON 28-300 mm F/4-7.1 VC is a versatile zoom lens for the Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless camera. This lens covers a wide range of focal lengths from 28mm wide-angle to 300mm telephoto with excellent image output. It achieves 10.7x zoom at just 126mm in length and weighs just 610g. The lens is equipped with a linear VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) focusing mechanism that enables fast and accurate focusing throughout the zoom range. The lens also features a VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism that ensures sharp handheld images when shooting at 300mm telephoto even in low light conditions. With a minimum focusing distance (MOD) of 0.19m from the subject and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.8 at the wide end of the lens, users can enjoy a world of wide macro photography. In addition, it includes a focus adjustment button and a USB-C port for connecting special TAMRON Lens Utility software. The lens has a moisture-resistant construction and the front member is coated with a protective fluorine coating.
