The Nano Hand Wheel Controller has a very compact design, similar to professional handheld remote focus units (e.g. Tilta Nucleus-M). The system has no lag, so it is very accurate and easy to use. The handheld unit is powered by a single Type 14500 battery (included) for up to 6 hours of battery life.
In conjunction with the Tilta Gravity G2X Compact Handheld Gimbal, one-handed operation is enabled by the ability to mount the controller to the stabilizer rosette. It allows you to easily switch between G2X stabilizer modes and control focus - at the same time!
The Nucleus Nano system uses an advanced stepper motor with low power consumption, low noise and high torque. An integrated adapter for 15mm rails ensures compatibility with a multitude of camera rigs and mounts. The motor is capable of operating in the 5-18V voltage range via Micro USB interface. It can therefore be powered directly from the G2X (5V Micro USB output) or via the P-tap - 5V Micro USB adapter (optional accessory)
The Nano Motor is equipped with an integrated controller and communicates directly with the hand controller. There is therefore no need to use dedicated MDR units, saving space and time for rig setup: simply assign the Nano Motor and Nano Hand Wheel Controller to the same channel and you're ready to go! The range is approx. 90 m
The motor supports automatic and manual lens calibration (for lenses without stops) with A-B limit settings and is equipped with a standard cogwheel (module 0.8) for film lenses. Motor torque is 0.65 Nm at 5.5 V and 1 Nm at 14.8 V. The Nano motor is also compatible with the Nucleus-M!
