Wise CFexpress Type B PRO 160GB

The new Wise CFexpress Type B "PRO" media series comes in 160, 320 and 640 GB capacities and, thanks to SLC technology and firmware optimizations, achieves extreme performance and reliability: stable write speeds of 1300-1400 MB/s (depending on model), maximum read speeds of 1700 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 1550 MB/s! This makes the media suitable for modern digital film cameras shooting in 8K resolution (transfer speeds for 12-bit 8K RAW 29.97p material are approx. 325 MB/s), 12K or higher. The cards were also tested by the manufacturer using a reader (incl. USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable) and a Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K camera: recording in 12K DCI Blackmagic RAW 5:1 40p format (approx. 963 MB/s continuous) was performed without dropped frames... Two years after releasing the CFX-B series, Wise Advanced Co., Ltd. today added a new PRO line of CFexpress Type B memory media in 160GB, 320GB and 640GB with minimum sustained writes of up to 1400 MB/s for professional creators that need peace of mind during projects. The Wise CFexpress Type B PRO memory cards are designed with improved product lifespan and sustained speed in applications that require frequent higher levels of data reading and writing.

The new cards feature customized NAND commands and firmware algorithms, and optimize both endurance and performance in line with native SLC NAND. Together with the blistering minimum sustained write speed of 1300-1400 MB/s (depending on model), it's nearly impossible to drop any frames or lose any data in today's cameras that see data rates around 325 MB/s in 8K RAW 29.97p (12 bit).

The PRO cards were tested cards by using Wise card reader and USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable connecting to the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K. The media successfully recorded -- without dropping any frames -- in 12K DCI Blackmagic RAW 5:1 40p, with constant bitrate requiring around 963 MB/s sustained writes.

With a new software algorithm for heat control and lower risk of corrupt files, the CFexpress Type B PRO memory media leads to superior stability and speed for projects that require a guaranteed success. Last but not least, faster sustained reads allow creators to offload precious contents in a matter of seconds via a card reader with USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, and achieve the highest transfer rates when paired with a Thunderbolt 3 card reader.
