New version 11.00.13684 of the editing application EDIUS 11 has seen the return of the media used indicator in the timeline (the "green dot" for binned previews), as well as significant new hardware decoding of H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC) media via Nvidia NVDEC, as well as GPU acceleration for other native EDIUS effects (Primary Color Correction, Monotone and Median). Of course, there are also minor fixes and optimizations (e.g. faster display of bin content)... Full list of new features here, new version available for download at edius.net/edius_download.html. Note: Along with the EDIUS 11.10.13684 update, you must also install the new VisTitle 3.100 (Express or full version). Update 11.00.13511 for EDIUS 11 improves working with the Bin window thanks to new keyboard shortcuts and also contains several fixes (increased compatibility with EDIUS 9 projects, etc.). The new EDIUS 11 includes the powerful VisTitle 3.0 Express captioning plug-in, but more demanding users can upgrade to the full version of VisTitle 3.0, with a discount of up to 35% until the end of the year! The full version of the captioner will offer a number of advanced features including animated text on a curve, simulation of hand-drawn lines between selected objects, animated shadows, 2D text to 3D conversion and more! On the same date, the manufacturer is also offering a cheaper upgrade from the full version 2.0 as well as the option of a discounted upgrade to the extended version "VisDOM VisTitle 3.0 + Plug-in Package" containing in addition a 3D particle system, an effect simulating handwriting, a Karaoke plug-in, a tool for drawing 2D paths along the Z coordinate to create 3D objects, as well as a plug-in for creating animated 2D/3D charts.

Update 11.00.13349 for EDIUS 11 also focuses on fixes in the Bin window. The new EDIUS 11 brings a complete overhaul of the code in this section, which has had an impact on the increased error rate; the new update fixes most of the user-reported bugs, and another version is also planned for January that will bring new features (ibid.).
