Novinky z IBC 2016 - Blackmagic Design

This year's IBC 2016 in Amsterdam was not as rich in news as the previous years, but on the other hand, most of the presented news will be available in a very short time. Hopefully other brands will follow this trend and not announce new products sometimes even a year in advance.

In addition to some news and updates,Blackmagic Design announced at IBC the acquisition of two companies - Ultimatte and Fairlight

, which it will be integrating under its wing in the near future. Ultimate is the de facto standard for chromakey keying and almost every broadcaster in the world uses Ultimatte products. Australian Fairlight's domain is nopak audio - from professional digital audio products for live broadcast, film, post-production or 3D mixing and finishing.

The acquisition happened just before IBC so we will hopefully hear more about these products or the integration of the new companies into the existing Blackmagic portfolio soon.
