Shortly after the launch of the new Ninja camera monitor/recorder models, Atomos also introduced a new generation of products Shogun! Again, the main news is the completely redesigned AtomOS 11 operating system with a number of innovations including the EL Zone exposure tool, ARRI False Color display and new tools for scheduled playback and recording. Support for 6K Apple ProRes RAW codecs (8K on the Shogun Ultra), Apple ProRes, DNxHD and also H.265, which was previously available as a paid upgrade. There are also new tools for setting up time-lapse recording, RemoteView for sharing live camera views over the internet, fast and stable Wi-Fi 6 internet connection (6E on the Ultra version), etc. Compared to the Ninja models, the Shogun versions offer a brighter 7" display (2000cd/m2) and expanded connectivity (12G-SDI and HDMI).
