DaVinci Resolve

Blackmagic today released Blackmagic Video Assist 3.18, an update that adds support for Blackmagic RAW recording from Panasonic UB10 cameras to the Video Assist 5" 12G HDR and Video Assist 7" 12G HDR models.

When recording Blackmagic RAW using Video Assist 12G HDR, you can also save camera settings to metadata. This means that white balance and exposure are encoded into a file that DaVinci Resolve can read. However, you can still overwrite these settings later when color correcting the RAW palette.

Second update for DaVinci Resolve 19 brings MPEG-TS (Transport Stream) media decoding , improved scripting, higher output quality for the Speed Warp slow motion effect, expanded OpenColorIO support, improved 3D Jitter and Extrude effects in the Fusion section, and other minor improvements and fixes. Update 19.0.3 implemented support for Blackmagic RAW 4.3, improvements to LUT corrections, and other minor enhancements. Download here.

New version DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.6.4 includes support for Blackmagic RAW 3.6 and minor fixes/improvements to bins, shared media, timeline backups, automations in Fairlight or the application/section particle generator Fusion Studio 18.6.4 Blackmagic Video Assist 3.14 update adds support for recording to Blackmagic RAW format on Video Assist 5" and 7" 12G HDR recorders/monitors from the new Panasonic camera LUMIX G9M2 (also requires the new Blackmagic RAW 3.6 update).
