Blackmagic Camera 9.5 Public Beta

This update adds autofocus support for Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K with continuous object and face tracking. The update also supports cloud workflow on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Cinema Camera 6K. This allows clips from the camera's new media pool to be uploaded to the Blackmagic Cloud and even uploaded directly into DaVinci Resolve projects. Also included in this beta update is webcam support via USB-C connection on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Cinema Camera 6K. This means you can connect the camera to computers and live stream video using streaming software or the platform in full 1080p HD resolution. With this webcam support, you can live stream your footage to clients from anywhere in the world. This update also adds the ability to update and manage the camera via Ethernet, REST API support for remote camera control, secure login and password support, network time protocol support, web media manager support, file transfer protocol (FTP) support, and SMB file sharing support.

Previous Beta 9.4 added support for SMPTE-2110 IP video for Blackmagic Studio Camera Pro models when connected to a Blackmagic Studio Converter or Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 4x12G PWR over a 10G Ethernet connection. This update also added networking enhancements for Blackmagic Studio Camera Pro models and lens support enhancements for all Blackmagic Studio Camera models.

Cloud Store 1.6

This update adds support for SMB3 Multichannel to the Blackmagic Cloud Store and Cloud Store Max, Blackmagic Media Dock and Blackmagic Cloud Dock. This will allow for faster transfer speeds when moving data between your Blackmagic Cloud Store device and your computer, as you can take advantage of multiple 10G Ethernet ports. This is great for faster data transfers from cameras using the Blackmagic Media Dock. This update also adds SMB signing to all models, allowing for more secure data transfer between devices and computers running Windows 11. Additionally, the update adds user authentication to the Blackmagic Media Dock, Blackmagic Cloud Dock and Blackmagic Cloud Pod. This allows an administrator to create accounts on Blackmagic Cloud Store models and assign permissions to a specific user account.
