In yet another online product launch, Blackmagic Design revealed several new products: the "3G" variants of the Video Assist camera monitor/recorders (offering a standard LCD display and support for max 1080p60 video at a significantly lower price point compared to the 12G HDR versions), upgraded variants of the UltraStudio (Mini) Monitor/Recorder ("3G") converters with a modern Thunderbolt 3 interface, and an unexpected addition to the URSA Mini Pro family of professional digital cinema c ameras with an all-new Super 35 12K sensor! The camera will offer Blackmagic RAW recording up to 12K DCI (12,288 x 6,480!), a dynamic range of 14 aperture numbers, interchangeable bayonets (will come standard with PL), HFR shooting (e.g. 4K DCI up to 110 fps) and recording to external drives (USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2; incl. the new URSA Mini Recorder variant), among others!
