Introducing the new DZOFILM X-tract 18-28mm Metric T8 PL with hard case.

Zoom function

• A new form/category of macro shooting - a zoom probe (18 - 28mm FF) covering commonly used focal lengths in advertising/TVC, with a field of view of 100° - 73° to improve shooting flexibility, suppress flare and vignetting outside the image and ensure image consistency.
• Thanks to the parfocal design, the focus remains unchanged when zooming and a similar effect to the Zouk zoom can be achieved.

Image quality

• Constant maximum aperture T8, multi-layer anti-reflective coating, sharp and clear at full aperture.
• Image quality on par with high-definition films, 6 low-dispersion lenses correct colors, accurately reproduce colors, suppress breathing effect and vignetting.

Stability and durability

• Waterproof, dustproof and fogproof (IP57 protection, waterproof body length > 28 cm, first lens with waterproof anti-fog film), adaptable to harsh conditions and special shooting.
• Made of all metal (aerospace-grade aluminum alloy + oxide film, 25um thickness), ensures stability and durability in a variety of challenging shooting environments.

Lightweight and comfortable

• The weight is only 1000g, the front diameter of the lens is <30mm, and the clearance when shooting in a narrow space is good to avoid blocking the light.
• The body volume is controlled at approximately 400 mm in length, while the rear center of gravity design reduces shake when shooting and adapts to various forms of installation.

Magnification and focusing options

• Maximum magnification of 2.1:1, closest working focus distance is approximately 6 mm.
• a focusing stroke of 300° helps to control the focus gently and precisely and has been proven through 100,000 lifetimes at high frequencies.

Technical features of the lens

• 7 high refractive lenses with a differential refractive index distribution of 2 + 5, making the image more transparent and the color temperature more realistic, improving the yellowing problem of traditional probes.
• Full M0.8 tooth ring, adapted to the standardized design of the film and television industry.

Accessories and creative design (BC function)

• Self-developed support seat type OY, quick-release type O with hole for standard 3/8 screw, type Y with hole for standard 1/4 screw, removable, suitable for adding accessories.
• Smooth MO.8 swivel ring, 360 degree swivel angle, with swivel scale mark, to achieve 0 full angle swivel offset.

Usability design

• From the magnification, waterproof line to the rotation scale, visual cues are provided and the operation is more human and intuitive.
