Panasonic has unveiled the successor to the LUMIX G9, the new BG1 battery grip with joystick for the S5/S5M2/S5M2X/G9M2 models, as well as two new MFT zoom lenses (Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 35-100 mm f/2.8 Power O.I.S. a Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400 mm, f/4.0-6.3 II Asph. Power O.I.S.). New G9M2 is equipped with a new 25.2MP Live MOS sensor and a more powerful processor for unlimited time-lapse 4K 60p video recording (4:2:2, 10-bit) respectively. up to 4K 120p (4:2:0, 10-bit) and 5.8K Open Gate 4:2:0, as well as a dynamic range of 13+ EV (integrated V-Log mode); improved autofocus (Phase Hybrid AF, AI subject recognition function...), the ability to record to external USB drives, innovative stabilization technologies (Dual I.S. 2, Active I.S, Boost I.S.), body taken from the popular S5M2/S5M2X series, etc. All the new products introduced should be on sale around the beginning of November.
