Panasonic has unveiled the new LUMIX S1R II full frame digital mirrorless camera, boasting a next generation sensor! The new 44.3 MP BSI CMOS sensor and high-performance processorwith L2 technology allow you to create photos and videos with impressive colour expression. The high-resolution mode even allows you to take up to 177 MP photos. This is the first LUMIX camera to handle 8K video. The popular Open Gate feature has been enhanced and the S1RM2 allows 6.4K shooting. With the upcoming firmware update , it even goes up to 8.1K. It also supports internal 5.8K Apple ProRes RAW HQ/ProRes RAW recording . A kit version is also available with thePanasonic LUMIX S 24-105mm f/4.0 Macro OISlens . Highly advanced real-time recognition, Phase Hybrid AF now with AI tracking, quickly and accurately detects human eyes and faces and seamlessly tracks subject movements. With high-speed continuous shooting at up to 40 frames per second and AF tracking, dynamic subjects can be captured with high precision. The highly acclaimed image stabilization has been improved again. It achieves 8.0 EV compensation with built-in stabilization and 7.0 EV even in the telephoto range with Dual I.S. Advanced Video Image Stabilization offers E.I.S. distortion correction without cropping, reducing peripheral distortion in wide-angle shooting.
