New operating system ("MOVNORM OS") for portKeys camera monitors LH7P, LH7H, PT6 a LH5P II (v3) introduces an improved user interface for faster and easier menu navigation, as well as a function to stretch the image (and output the deformed video over HDMI, e.g. for streaming) when shooting vertically. Support for remote camera control via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth has also been extended for the LH7P and LH5P II (v3) models: Canon EOS R5/R6/R6 Mark II/R8, Panasonic BGH1/BS1H, Sony A7M IV and Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K. MOVNORM OS also offers a number of new features for controlling Sony cameras, including the ability to display the status of the recording media, as well as the ability to assign camera functions (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc.) to user buttons on the monitor. The new system is designed for HDMI PortKeys monitors only (a "CINENORM OS" variant for monitors with HDMI and HD-SDI I/O will be available in the near future) and is offered free of charge at https://www.portkeys.com/support/.

Panasonic introduced LUMIX S 28-200 mm f/4-7.1 Macro O.I.S. (S-R28200) for the L-Mount system, the world's smallest and lightest wide-range zoom lens, thanks to its overall length of 93.4 mm and weight of approximately 413 g! In addition to very good optical performance, it offers the ability to take 1:2 macro images; smooth aperture operation; high-speed, accurate and silent autofocus; a choice between linear and non-linear manual focus operation; and a 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 image stabilizer. Panasonic has launched a new software platform, Media Production Suite, which consolidates a number of the brand's previous camera system applications into a single unit. The program's core features - Device View and PTZ Control - are offered free of charge, while other plug-ins (the new Video Mixer and the old familiar Visual Presets and Auto Tracking features) are paid activations. The Device View module allows you to manage several PTZ cameras from one computer, including their automatic detection, network parameter settings, FW updates, etc. The manufacturer promises compatibility with cameras from other manufacturers in the future. PTZ Control section is used for remote control of installation cameras including camera movements, focus, gain, white balance, shutter and ND filters. The possibility of storing up to one hundred presets serves for high user comfort. A paid Video Mixer plug-in using artificial intelligence for keyless background and other compositing features will be released in the near future. 27mm model from the Viltrox Pro line of professional lenses will soon also be available inversions for Sony E and Nikon Z bayonets! The27mm focal length lens with f/1.2 aperture is the second model in the Viltrox Proseries , which emphasizes high quality materials and workmanship, including a metal body, effective dust/moisture sealing, excellent optics with high sharpness and minimal aberration (the design uses 2x ED elements, 5x high refractive index and 1x aspherical lens material from Japanese manufacturer Hoya) and a fast, silent autofocus stepper motor for smooth video recording.
