Blackmagic Design showcased at IBC new monitor for PYXIS and URSA Cine cameras. This versatile 5″ touchscreen HDR display offers full camera control and a high quality LCD panel with 1500^cd/m2 high brightness and 1920x1080 native resolution. A huge advantage is the data and power connectivity via a single USB-C cable; a removable sun visor or signal light are standard. The monitor will go on sale (separately or in two sets with mounting accessories) during the last quarter.

At this year's IBC, Atomos announced support for the NDI 6 standard (i.e., now with HDR/10-bit color), as well as a discount promotion for the Ninja Ultra and Shogun Ultra monitors/recorders. Compared to standard models, the Ultra variants offer, among other things, recording of up to 8K ProRes RAW material, simultaneous recording of ProRes RAW and H.265 proxy data, Wi-Fi 6E interface, optional NDI 4K TX Pro mode (NDI requires paid activation), and recording from ARRI, Canon, Sony and RED cameras over SDI (and Nikon Z9 over HDMI) with automatic file naming. Special monitor/recorder prices Atomos Ninja Ultra a Shogun Ultra are valid only from September 13 - October 31, 2024 or while stocks last.
