The new "Essential Pro" models are compatible with the CFexpress 4.0 standard introduced in August 2023 - which allows theoretical speeds of up to 4 GB/s (Type B) and 2 GB/s (Type A) - and will be available in 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB capacities with read/write speeds of up to 1800/1650 MB/s. The cards integrate PCIe Gen4 x1 interfaces and LDPC ECC correction, are VPG400 ("Video Performance Guarantee Profile 4") certified for reliable recording of up to 8K/120 fps video, and are protected by a 10-year warranty; compatibility with Sony cameras (A1, A7S III, A7 IV, FX3, FX6...) is standard. Viltrox brand surprised with a bunch of new products including new additions to the anamorphic (1.33x) lens line Viltrox Epic! So far, the range has included a trio of models with focal lengths of 35, 50 and 75 mm, T/2 aperture, FF sensor coverage, versions for PL, E and L-Mount bayonets, consistent colour scheme across all models and identical external construction (dimensions 102x133 mm, M0.8 ring gear, 95 mm front diameter, weight approx. 1980 g). The new Epic series is completed by 100 mm T/2 and 25 mm T/2 models differing in dimensions but promising the same colour rendering. The lenses are available individually or as sets (25/35/50/75/100, 25/100, 35/50/75 mm) including a hard carrying case. We accept orders!
