Canon reveals new additions to EOS R family - cameras EOS R1 a EOS R5 Mark II! Both full-frame models feature the new "Accelerated Capture" imaging platform, which consists of the new DIGIC Accelerator processor along with the high-performance Digic X image processor and newly developed high-speed image sensors (45MP and 24.2MP for the R5 Mark II and R1 respectively). The new models also offer the latest version of Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology - Dual Pixel Intelligent AF, which includes a number of enhancements including the ability to track subjects more accurately. In video, the versatile EOS R5 Mark II offers internal recording of 12-bit RAW material (upto 8Kp60 video and 4Kp120 respectively), Canon Log 2 and 3 modes, and proxy video recording. Compared to the previous version, the Mark II offers Eye Control AF (eye-gaze focusing), more powerful image stabilization, longer battery life (upgraded LP-E6P battery), higher frame rate recording, and an advanced Wi-Fi interface (2.4/5/6 GHz, MIMO and BT 5.3). Targeted at sports and news photography, the R1 will offer dedicated AF functions, an integrated vertical grip, Ethernet incl. FTP transfer and continuous shooting up to 40 fps (30 fps on the EOS R5 Mark II) including automatic continuous shooting before pressing the shutter button.
