SMPTE 2110: Video-Over-IP

Blackmagic Design has introduced a new product category that enables signal transmission over Ethernet in compliance with the SMPTE 2110 standard. This enables near-latency transmission of audio and video data in the TV standard over an Ethernet network. All connected devices on the network can access and use the signals fed into the network without the need for additional cables. Blackmagic Design compresses the video signal using the newly developed 2110 IP codec, enabling transmission over 10G Ethernet networks. This is ideal for use in professional production and broadcast facilities, live events and educational institutions.

Ethernet Switch 360P: Central Switch Point for 2110 IP

The switcher has been specifically designed for broadcast, live and AV production environments. It serves as a central switching point for 2110 IP networks and enables the distribution and management of video, audio and control data. 2110 IP Converter

Blackmagic 2110 IP Converters are an essential part of the 2110 IP workflow. They enable the conversion of SDI and HDMI video signals to IP network protocol and vice versa.

SDI and IP (bidirectional):

• 2110 IP Converter 3x3G: three independent 3G-SDI channels with looping outputs (up to 1080p60)
• 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G / SFP: for 12G-SDI signals / with SFP for optical networks
