Blackmagic Camera 8.5 Public Beta
Manufacturer Blackmagic Design released several major updates in late December, dominated by the public beta of Blackmagic Camera 8.5 for the Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2, bringing expanded support for Blackmagic Cloud, proxy recording for Blackmagic RAW and ProRes formats, lower latency for SDI output, support for the SRT streaming protocol, and a REST API for remote control. For the Blackmagic URSA Studio Viewfinder and Blackmagic URSA Studio Viewfinder G2, it now allows the signal light color to be adjusted.
