Panasonic unveils several new cameras including a high-end broadcast model UCX100 (and corresponding hybrid optical interface CFA100), as well as a pair of 4K "box" cameras UB10 a UB50. These are based on the LUMIX G and LUMIX S models and differ in the bayonet (MFT in the UB10 and L-Mount in the UB50), sensor (10.3 MP 4/3 and 24.2 MP S35 respectively) and dynamic range in V-Log mode (13 and 24.2 MP respectively). they share the same size/design, broad support for IP standards (RTP/RTSP etc.), dual native sensor sensitivity technology, 3G-SDI, HDMI Type A, LAN, TC, Genlock and USB-C, H.264/H.265/HEVC MP4/MOV recording to SD cards, easy integration with Panasonic PTZ cameras, advanced AF detection with subject detection and more... Both cameras are expected to hit the market during the first quarter of 2025, with the studio model UCX100 going on sale in December this year.
