Panasonic has launched a new software platform, Media Production Suite, which consolidates a number of the brand's previous camera system applications into a single unit. The program's core features - Device View and PTZ Control - are offered free of charge, while other plug-ins (the new Video Mixer and the old familiar Visual Presets and Auto Tracking features) are paid activations. The Device View module allows you to manage several PTZ cameras from one computer, including their automatic detection, network parameter settings, FW updates, etc. The manufacturer promises compatibility with cameras from other manufacturers in the future. PTZ Control section is used for remote control of installation cameras including camera movements, focus, gain, white balance, shutter and ND filters. The possibility of storing up to one hundred presets serves for high user comfort. A paid Video Mixer plug-in using artificial intelligence for keyless background and other compositing features will be released in the near future.
