Nikon plans (mid next year) to launch new FW for full-frame mirrorless camera Nikon Z6IIIwhich will bring the Content Credentials feature based on Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) standards to protect user copyright and image authenticity. Nikon is also planning a new version of NX MobileAir, which will support the Frame.io Camera to Cloud platform feature and enable automatic video transfer to the Frame.io platform for seamless sharing in the cloud. The launch is planned for the first half of 2025.
DJI said a new version of the Air 3 drone. The new version with the "S" moniker brings a larger 1" 50MP sensor on the main, wide-angle camera, as well as a front LiDAR or Nightscape function for safer flight in lower light conditions. Libec plans to launch the new compact ZC-8, ZC-12 and ZC-20 zoomremotes for direct mounting on tripod handles this November . Remote control ZC-8 is compatible with both Canon and Fujinon 8-pin servo lenses, the ZC-12 is designed for 12-pin Fujinon and model ZC-20 is designed for Canon lenses with 20-pin connectors. They can also be used with film zooms or Canon Power Zoom adapters . The new remotes are lightweight and compact, yet affordable.
Panasonic has introduced a new zoom lens in the LUMIX S series, the 18-40 mm f/4.5-6.3 (S-R1840E), currently the smallest and lightest FF zoom on the market; the new body colour of the LUMIX S9 ("smoke white"); an updated version of the original "espeta", LUMIX S5D (now compatible with DJI's AF LiDAR technology and DJI RS 3 Pro stabilizer; sold in a kit with 18-40mm lens); and new firmware for the S9, S5M2/S5M2X and G9M2. Firmware 1.1 for the S9 allows you to deactivate the video recording time limit (but depending on the ambient temperature, recording may still stop automatically if the electronics are in danger of overheating), allows you to display up to three image markers at once, improves Phase Hybrid AF, and expands the synergies with LUMIX Lab to include remote shutter and shutter control. Updates 3.1 and 2.1 for the S5M2 and S5M2X respectively, and 2.2 for the G9M2 implement 5GHz Wi-Fi support, compatibility with the DMW-XLR2 audio accessory, compatibility with the LUMIX Lab app, and the ability to assign the Real Time LUT function to a function button; additionally, for the S5M2/S5M2X models, it introduces the new "LEICA Monochrome" shooting style.
